A lovely weekend for a wedding

This weekend we took yet another sojourn down to Utard. It was a treacherous journey to say the least. Our normal 4 hour drive turned in to a 5.5 hour drive because of the horrid snowy/road conditions. AND we were SOOO close to colliding with two Bambies. It was scary. But it was so worth the trip because David and I went to see our good friend Todd get sealed to the woman of his dreams Marie in the Manti temple for time and all eternity.  It was a beautiful ceremony and a lovely reception.
The Manti temple was unlike any temple I had ever seen. The decor was intricate and old fashioned and simply amazing. While we were waiting inside for the sealing to begin, David and I tried to get a sneak peak of the famous spiral staircases. Sadly we didn't get very far due to some grumpy temple workers :)

Afterwards David showed me his old stomping grounds at Snow College. (he played football there a year before his mission). We stopped and ate at this cute old dinner called "Malt Shop" The food was oh- so- delish

 Congrats to the newly weds!

Manti is my favorite temple! It was worth the drive to get married there. My Great Grandma made all the chair covers there, they are super pretty.
Glad you guys missed Bambi.
