We checked off yet another item on our Idaho Bucket List. Taking advantage of the 90 degree weather, we packed up some grape soda and Doritos and headed to Egin Lake. It not anything like the Santa Cruz beaches I grew up on, but it was nice to stick my feet in the sand (practically burning them off) and to cool off in the cold water. Cole and Rachel joined us and made for some fun frisbee games. Overall it was a nice little oasis in the desert!

Saturday we checked off another item on our Idaho Bucket List! Thats two so far, woo hoo!! Mesa Falls was so beautiful! It's one of those places you wouldn't even know it was there unless someone told you about it. The drive was really nice and the weather was good to us. We even lucked out and went on "national get outdoors day" and didn't have to pay the entrance fee.
Afterwards we stopped at Frost Tops drive-in in Ashton. The food was average but it had such a fun old fashioned atmosphere. All in all it was a Saturday well spent!

(might want to turn the volume down, i'm really loud)
I felt like a proud mamma at David's track meet last Saturday. He did the 110 hurdles, 4x1 and the long jump.
If you can't tell from the video, BYU-I track isn't very popular, but it was so much fun to watch all the events. The sun was shinning bright and I went home with a studd-ly handsome man on my arm and a big red sunburn.
After the meet we got ready for a picnic/bbq at Smiths park with some of our friends. Seriously, the weather couldn't be any better.
