Remington turns 7!
Today we celebrated Remington's 7th birthday.
Seven years with this kid.
I can't believe it.
Since his birthday landed on a Sunday this year, we kept it low key with the immediate family.
Remington insisted on making and decorating his own cake so we let him do just that.
He picked out a chocolate boxed cake, chocolate frosting and MMs and kisses to decorate it.
He loved using the kitchen aid mixer and putting it in the oven.
He was so proud of his work!
The family has all been pretty much sugar free for the entire month of February so everyone was sick to their stomaches after eating a piece haha.
talk about a SUGAR RUSH!
I think it's the first time ever we have't finished off a birthday cake!
Altering singing to him and eating cake he opened his gifts.
We totally surprised him with a "smart watch" that he's been wanting forever.
He literally hasn't stopped running and jumping all around the house all day because he wants to get to 10k steps before David and I do.
Every few minutes he'd announce how many steps he's on.
Safe to say, it was a good gift, haha!
He also got a new set of pajamas, a new white shirt for church and a nice outfit for church/Easter.(pictured)
For his experience gift, we signed him up for a basketball league which starts next month.
He is SO excited for that.
One of these days I will get around to filming his birthday interview.
This kid has a lot to say.
We love him so much.
