Christmas 2020
This year Christmas was extra special because we got to spend it with David birth father (Blaine) and his wife (Tammy).
After finding his birth mom through Ancestry DNA kit last year, we were quickly connected with his Dad too. We got to meet Blaine and Tammy last July and it was another beautiful, emotional reunion.
Fast forward to 18 months later and we are now currently living only three miles away from them here in Idaho.
It has been so awesome to build and strengthen those relationships and it has been especially great for the kids to get to know their Mimi and Pop Pop.
On Christmas morning, they came over at 7:45 and then the kiddos got to come down from their rooms to see what Santa had brought them.
They instantly ran and embraced Mimi and Pop Pop instead of going to their gifts.
dang, the tears were flowing!
It was such a sweet and tender moment.
We spent the morning taking turns and opening gifts-
I captured the best gift opening, excited faces.
We ate cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven (which i’m glad i got up early to make because the breakfast casserole BOMBED lol) and reveled in the Christmas morning magic.
I didn’t snap a ton of photos because I really wanted to stay present in the moment, but I did get a few video clips which I compiled together.
It was for sure a Christmas for the books!

This is so sweet! So glad you all had a great Christmas! 🥰
